THIS IS GOING TO BE PRESIDENT EMMERSON MNANGAGWA'S MARGIN OF VICTORY IN THE 2018 ELECTIONS

Image
President Emmerson Mnangagwa is going to win the 2018 Harmonised election by a margin of between 218 000 and 392 000 individual votes. It will be a margin big enough to make calls of a recount moot. It will be small enough to give credibility to the masses that attend Nelson Chamisa's rallies these days. Most importantly, it will be enough margin to render the elections credible, free and fair. Where this margin, already guaranteed to President Mnangagwa, will come from, is the blind spot that the MDC Alliance has failed to locate. They have failed even to sniff it. The MDC Alliance and Nelson Chamisa have absolutely no clue how the President and the ruling party are going to win. But they know that they will win. So, the flailing pointing out of issues around the ballot paper printing, transportation and security is serving only to dig a deeper hole for the opposition alliance. Nelson Chamisa, who claims that, without him and without the Alliance, there will be no ...

ON THE CRIMINAL LETTING DOWN OF ZIMBABWEANS BY THE OPPOSITION

Image
Not one person has actually seen the psychology behind the type of handshake displayed by VP Chiwenga against Nelson Chamisa here. Even Chamisa does not realise he is being pulled down and forced to bow. Those who underestimate the General do so at their own peril. He staged probably the smartest dethronement of a leader anywhere in the world in the last 45 years.  The biggest advantage the MDC ever had was that people believed that they and only they would be acceptable to the West and international community. It led people to believe that only by supporting and voting for the MDC could they see economic improvement in Zimbabwe. That argument and that advantage has been spectacularly demolished by President Emmerson Mnangagwa since November 2017. The president is flying high right now. Very high. The international community is embracing him, much to the consternation of the opposition, especially the MDC-T. The MDC Alliance of Nelson Chamisa has been hoist ...

Nelson Chamisa Is Disemboweled By Mugabe

Image
These are the two men who have been humiliated by Mugabe in the last two days. Day before yesterday, it Tendai Biti who was forced to eat humble pie and live with Gideon Gono. Yesterday, it was Nelson Chamisa who was stripped of all the most important elements of his ministry There really is no other way to put it: Robert Mugabe today essentially disemboweled Nelson Chamisa, gutting his ministry into a shell and hiving off Telephone and cellphone companies and their regulatory bodies to a ZANU PF heavyweight minister. Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai is being systematically cut down to size by President Robert Mugabe. Mugabe quietly announced the "redefining" of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, which Nelson Chamisa is in charge of. He sent the Secretary to the President and Cabinet (Mugabe is in charge of cabinet while Tsvangirai is in charge of the Council of Ministers), to tell the ministers how their turfs were now defined. You will recall that Cha...

Is Nelson Chamisa an Incompetent, Drooling and Cluess Minister?

Image
Nelson Chamisa (minister of information & comunication technology, above) and the MDC are taking policy cues from Chairman Mugabe's Little Red Book What on earth has possessed Nelson Chamisa, the MDC minister in charge of ICT, which includes internet and mobile phone companies? Zimbabwe's internet was switched off again on Saturday night. It had been restored on Friday afternoon after a week of complete shutdown. The restoration was through the limited-access South Africa links. It is still off and you should not expect the problem to be truly solved before the end of this year, if at all. As for first-world standards, you should forget about that for as long as MDC-PF are in power. As I have been saying since the year 2001, at least, the MDC has no policy platform whatsoever and this was amply demonstrated by the blundering Minister of ICT in Zimbabwe, MDC's Spokesman, Nelson Chamisa. Now in government and "in charge of policy formulation and implementation"...
